In a kingdom beneath the sea with Queensland Musical Theatre’s latest musical offering, the spellbinding aquatic adventure, The Little Mermaid – Live on Stage was accompanied by a magnificent live orchestra.
We embarked on an extraordinary journey with Ariel, the spirited young mermaid who yearns to explore the world above, in this rendition of Hans Christian Andersen's cherished tale and the beloved Disney classic.
The show, played at the iconic Twelfth Night Theatre, delivered magical performances from the 60-strong cast who brought all your favourite characters to life.
With a soundtrack by the eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and storyline by Doug Wright, this fishy fable reeled ed us in with unforgettable favourites like "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl," and "Part of Your World.
Queensland Musical Theatre brought together a skilled team of creatives for one of the company’s most popular shows yet. With direction by Deian Ping, musical direction by Julie Whiting and choreography by Julianne Burke, the show made a splash.
